A Real Partnership
We’re always on the look out for businesses and other organisations to join our partnership to prepare young people for successful lives.
Our engagement with top businesses and other organisations has been key to our success over the last two years, and you can read more about our current partners here. The students are invariably enthusiastic about their experiences, and we work hard to ensure that volunteers also have a fulfilling and rewarding experience. We engage with partners in two key ways:
- Firstly, we bring students into businesses to discuss employees’ experiences, find out more about the business, and take part in business games to give them a flavour of what the organisation does.
- Secondly, we build clusters of schools identified with a sponsoring business who provides additional financial support and builds long-term partnerships with those schools, as well as encouraging collaboration.
In either case, Enabling Enterprise manages the relationship with each school to facilitate their involvement in our programmes – providing teacher training, teaching resources, and all preparation for events. We liaise directly with each business to arrange each event/volunteering opportunity and provide briefings for volunteers, minimising any administrative burden on the business.
Our feedback from volunteers is consistently excellent, with Enabling Enterprise organising and facilitating on the day so that volunteers can enjoy just working with the students. As one volunteer said, “today has been so rewarding… seeing the students grow in confidence in such a short time is amazing.”
We are excited by the opportunities from our growth and developing the partnerships to ensure that one day every student leaves school equipped with the employability skills, experiences of work and aspirations to succeed.
