Education Partnership of the Year 2014

We’re delighted that Enabling Enterprise has been named ‘Education Partnership of the Year 2014’ at the Education Investor awards.

These awards recognise the work of organisations across the education sector, and other category winners included the Open University, Deloitte and Teach First, who won Education Business of the Year.

The award particularly recognises the partnership at the heart of Enabling Enterprise: bringing together 150 primary and secondary schools and 75 businesses which a joint focus on ensuring that all students develop the skills, experiences and aspirations for future success.

The judges noted “the impact of the Enabling Enterprise programmes can be seen across the schools that they work with. They have found that by working on collaborative projects, students improve their teamwork and leadership skills, as well as growing in confidence. They are also able to see how the skills they are learning have practical application in real life, and this engages them in learning as well as playing a key role in developing their aspirations.”

Tom Ravenscroft, Founder & CEO added, “this award is a tribute to the commitment and innovation of all Enabling Enterprise’s partner schools and businesses, as well as our team. As we celebrate our fifth birthday, it’s exciting to take stock of where we have got to and the 35,000 students we reached last year. We have a long way to go to achieve our mission, but this is a great marker towards that goal.”
