Cardinal Pole Catholic School
Cardinal Pole was one of the first schools to use our programmes and they’ve used our Enabling Business course in a whole range of different ways – after-school, during the timetable as part of the BTEC Business courses, and even as an enrichment activity for the Sixth Form.
During that time they’ve been on loads of different trips, set up some brilliant businesses, and developed a lot of new skills and business knowledge…
Some Great Businesses
Cardinal Pole has produced some really great businesses over their two years using the programme, including several that have won a different business plan competitions. Some of our favourites include:
Salil’s Children – A really successful business, started by five of the students who were each already fluent in a different European language, and made the most of this to offer training and support to others. You can find more about their project elsewhere.
B’Sha Traders – These students used the skills that they’d developed in their Design & Technology lessons to design and produce customised key rings which they were then able to sell to teachers and other students, making themselves a healthy profit.
“For You” – These two girls cashed in on the Christmas market by creating a range of different gifts from teddy bears to hand painted cups and crockery, which eventually became their top selling items. You can see their stall at the Christmas Trade Fair above.
And great trips…
The Cardinal Pole students have also had some great trips and events:
