The School:

Rosebank Primary School in the Leeds is in their first year working with Enabling Enterprise. Today’s challenge was a fantastic opportunity for students from the whole school, including EYFS, to put their Enterprise Skills to the test.

The Challenge: Crime Scene Challenge

Over the course of the day, the students worked in teams as police investigators to solve the case of the ‘Sugar Snatcher.’ Following police procedures such as fingerprint analysis and evaluating evidence at the crime scene itself, the students were able to put their Problem Solving skills to the test to help them build a convincing case for who they thought was the guilty culprit. Continuing to practice their Working in a Team skills, it was then time to present their case to the case officer.

What they said:

  • “My students were so active and engaged the whole time! I look forward to seeing them using the skills they’ve learned today in their lessons.” – Teacher
  • “I was interested to see how well my students handled disagreements… Even when their ideas weren’t carried forward by the team, they responded surprisingly maturely.” – Teacher
  • “We were sharing our ideas in our team and to the rest of the class so we could find out who stole the chocolate!”- Student

Thanks to everyone for such a great Challenge Day!
