Mike was out meeting students in Birmingham this week.  It was an early start at Brookvale Primary in Erdington for the launch of our Mange Tout Module with Year 6. Students began their day by thinking about what it means to stand out of the crowd before beginning their quest to create a popular recipe book. Year 6 showed great discussion skills and when asked to sum up the lesson in one word, ‘fun’, ‘challenging’ and ‘exciting’ were some of the top choices.

Next was Primrose Community School in Kings Norton. Mike had a great time helping Year 6 put their communication skills to the test and model some formal boardroom meetings. On this third session of our Trash to Treasure module, students discussed how they could reuse different materials in the school and presented their ideas to the class. Thanks go to Mrs Newns, who took a few pictures on the day.
