Our first event at London Business School was held on the 3rd of March and was hugely successful and inspiring for all involved.  Year 12 students from Cardinal Pole School in Hackney travelled to Regents Park to one of the most prestigious business schools in the world.  The international appeal of LBS was demonstrated in the wide variety of backgrounds the volunteers hailed from, all of whom were happy to share their stories and advice with the students.

The morning was taken up with a number of warm up activities and team exercises, starting with the students plotting how they would go about setting up a new community on another planet and finishing with a very persuasive sales pitch for a test tube!  They then had the opportunity to interview each of the volunteers in small groups, drawing valuable inspiration from their experiences and learning about new aspects of business.

The trip offered a great chance for students to see where their studies could take them and what the world of business has to offer.  Thank you to all the volunteers from London Business School for helping to make it such an enjoyable day!
